Roma Victor MMORPG on dx servers

RedBedlam, developer of the historically authentic MMORPG Roma Victor® has announced a hosting partnership with dx to provide a first class gaming service.

The Roma Victor game and web servers are now hosted at dx's London-based Telehouse suite and testers are already enjoying the finest connection speeds available. "dx is the premier online games service in Europe which confirms to our community that Roma Victor will be able to compete at the highest level," said RedBedlam's President & CEO Kerry Fraser-Robinson. He added that, "the partnership is an excellent blend of independent and innovative organisations that share the same community-driven ethos".

dx continues to expand the range of games and gaming communities that use their services: "Roma Victor was always a prime target for dx; the content is unique and we believe the title will attract a much broader demographic of players than previously seen in the MMO game genre," said Dominic Silk, dx's CEO. He added "You only have to look to Hollywood to see that swords and sandals are back in fashion. That's why you'll find dx leading the charge alongside Red Bedlam".

RedBedlam have confirmed that they will be announcing a call for more testers for Roma Victor in the near future in order to help achieve the game's development targets.

PCZone Game Servers hosted by dx

dx a leading custom hosting solutions provider dedicated to the games industry, dx understands the special needs of games companies today announced the sigining of a Managed game services contract with PCZone magazine, part of the Dennis publishing empire.

dx will provide a bank of fully managed high performance game servers for readers of the UK's premier PC gaming magazine.

dx on a Joint Operation

dx a leading custom hosting solutions provider dedicated to the games industry, is pleased to announce a deal with NovaLogic Inc. that sees it host the official NovaWorld game servers for Europe.

Games supported by NovaWorld Europe include Delta Force Black Hawk Down and the ground breaking Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising & Escalation.

Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising & Joint Operations: Escalation are large-scale tactical combat simulators which allows up to 150 players to connect simultaneously per server and engage in objective-oriented team battles across a variety of scenarios in Southeast Asia.

“We’re really pleased to be providing these services for NovaLogic”, stated dx’s CEO, Dominic Silk, “With the game allowing for such unprecedented large-scale battles in a non-subscription First Person Shooter, it was clear that only the best hardware and on-hand support would fit the bill. Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising was released in the UK on Friday, with the official servers live and operational to coincide with the release.
