dx hosts children's MMO GardenParty

dx a leading custom hosting solutions provider dedicated to the games industry, is pleased to announce that it is providing managed hosting for the endearing and lush children's MMO GardenParty.

With an extension to the GardenParty open beta and a special Halloween event scheduled, Asylum Entertainment turned to dx to manage the migration of the existing GardenParty World service to enterprise level hardware in both the USA and UK.

dx's specialist knowledge and custom designed solution increased capacity by 10 times and outlined a straightforward and manageable path for further expansion. Infrastructure was configured, deployed and migrated in a seamless manner ensuring the minimum of disruption to players.

The configuration includes front end servers in dx's UK and USA data centres with associated dB servers. dx designed the system for modular growth to support the anticipated significant demand for this popular game.
